I saw Blow and Guru back to back. Blow at home on my DVD player. Guru at Regal. Both the films are on real life characters.
Blow is gripping from the first scene. It shows poverty, stress and a kid in a disturbed situation. The kid grows and he knows that the money is the problem or the money is the solution. He takes a direction that he thinks is right and achieves almost everything at the age of 32.
Guru has the same kid. He also knows that money is the problem or the solution. He takes his direction.
Blow sticks to the reality of the kid and how. Guru sways away and takes an unnatural turn. Indian judicial system gives Guru a clean chit by just listening to his speech.
Wish Mani sir would not let Guru dictates his terms and conditions.
Am his true fan and I was expecting a Blow from him.
